 Savory items for this month's afternoon tea. Tea set also included fresh mixed berry scone with Yuzu Curd (not shown). Last trip, our MW Restaurant server said to us "see you next month!" Well, it's finally a month later and another girl's afternoon out. (Don't worry if you're a guy, I saw quite a number of male customers during tea time). [Note]: Please see my follow-up visit for a newer review.  MW's Afternoon Tea only happens once a month on the third Sunday
and it's a new menu each time. It's no wonder it has taken me this long to finally try it.  Fresh pastries and sandwiches. It's really as yummy as it looks! Their Double Devonshire Cream and Kula Strawberry Preserve is an excellent compliment to their fresh scones.  When my friends suggested to have Afternoon Tea at the Kahala resort, I was quite excited knowing they serve my favorite brand of tea from Harney and Sons. It had be years since I've last visited so it was about time to return.
 Free dessert for my birthday. Why thank you Veranda! It's similar to a chocolate molten lava cake (ok, that may not be the name). But it's so good! |
