Halekulani Waikiki Afternoon Tea (Re-visit).

It feels like it's been a while since I've been to an actual Afternoon Tea.

 For this post, I re-visited Orchid's at Halekulani.

Here are some photos and quick notes. 

Celebratory Afternoon tea set with Champagne ($56); 3 sets shown (includes a slice of their famous Coconut cake).

It seems the Afternoon Tea Desserts have changed including
majority of their tea selections as well (see current menu at the end of this post).

The service this time was good and friendly, but not as amazing as the last visit. 

​I still highly recommend a visit for the beautiful view and tasty food. 
​
Afternoon Tea is available at Orchid's Restaurant or in their Veranda area. 

Their savory sandwiches are still the same as before. Their smoked salmon with lemon cream on rye bread is still fantastic as ever.

​Halekulani's famous Coconut Cake
​

Coconut Cake with Vanilla Cream and Raspberry Coulis. It's super fluffy and light!

​If you are celebrating a birthday, your piece will come with a candle and message. 

You can even try to re-create their legendary Coconut Cake
at home with the hotel's official recipe.
