Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 Honolulu (Mother's Day Brunch 2017), Ahi Poke, Granola and Fruits.
Fresh Ahi Poke (Shoyu & Spicy Tuna) & Granola and Fruits.
Sunday Brunch is one of my favorite things.
Nothing beats brunch with your favorite people and a Mimosa or two.

We visited
Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 for the 3rd time in 3 months
(for me anyway; a handful of times for my other half).
That's how much we enjoy this restaurant.

This visit, we tried out their
Mother's Day Brunch to see their interpretation of brunch in paradise.
Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 Honolulu (Mother's Day Brunch 2017)-- Desserts (Chocolate Cheese Cake, French Toast, Custard).
Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake, French Toast, and a Custard with Dulce De Leche.
When it comes to buffets offered here on the island,
it's generally underwhelming compared to the quality of the really big cities in US and around the world.

Though, I would say this experience was top-notch for both food and service.

Not a surprise as past visits were just as wonderful.

My favorite picks of the day included their desserts (which says a lot as I'm not a dessert person typically),
fresh ahi poke, delicious french toast, and corn beef hash.

Shoyu Ahi Poketini-- You can't get it any fresher than this.
You can find my previous reviews of the restaurant along with more visiting information here:

  • First Lunch visit  (Happy Hour & Wine Menu + parking information).  2/4/17.
  • Lunch  (Re-visit Review + Lunch Menu Update).  4/23/17.

Normally the restaurant offers ala carte, but if you happen to see them advertise buffets
for special occasions or holidays--- be sure to check them out.

Otherwise, I highly recommend a visit to try their regular menu.

Delicious! The pictures make me feel hungry. All the food items are tasty and full of energy. I think the blueberry cheese cake is wonderful. My kids love it and they often ask me to make it for them after their lunch. Thanks for sharing.
