Harbor Pier 38 Restaurant- Revisit (Oahu, Hawaii)

Did someone say
Coffee Creme Brulee?
Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 Honolulu Hawaii (Dessert, Kona Coffee Creme Brulee).
Desert of the day-- Kona Coffee Creme Brulee-- $10. It was luscious and creamy. Other types of Creme Brulee are offered regularly.

We had lunch at Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 once again and I just wanted to share a few new pictures.
By now, I've lost track of the times my Fiance's been here...without me.

But I would have to say this is one of our newest favorite restaurant on the island.
Their food and service is always great!

Smoked Pork Belly Brisket Sandwich
Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 (on top of Nico's) Oahu, Hawaii, Smoked Pork Belly Brisket Sandwich.
Sandwich comes with slaw on the bottom. Meat has taste of Tangy BBQ. So full of juicy goodness-- $18.

I've been hearing for months from my Fiance about how amazing this sandwich is,
but that he keeps missing it every time he goes back to the restaurant.

Turns out, it's only served every other weekend and he's been going on the wrong week.  But it sounds like it's a limited item as it will be replaced by another sandwich soon.
Sad news as this is an AMAZING sandwich indeed.   I hope they keep it on the special menu but I understand it's time consuming to make (smoked for 10 hours).

Parmesan Lattice Fries
Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 Honolulu Hawaii Nimitz Highway (Parm Cheese Lattice Fries).

All sandwiches come with their fresh (and addicting)
Parmesan Lattice Fries.

Clam special of the day
Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 Oahu Hawaii (Linguine Pasta with Clams).
Fresh Manila Clams Linguine -- $24. Garlic, Shallots, Spinach, Italian Parsley, White Wine and Vodka.

This time, the pasta was cooked perfectly to my liking
(not Al Dente which some may love).
While there's a generous blend of garlic and Parmesan cheese,
everything was well-balanced.

Normally I would not think to drink white wine with vodka,
but this idea intrigued me.  The vodka finish over the white wine works in making
a complex but velvety sauce.

Although I did find sand in one out of the ten clams,
I know how difficult (ok... near impossible)
when I try to clean Manila Clams myself at home.

We've already made reservations for their Mother's Day Buffet next month

Everything in Hawaii is wonderful that's why I am not not surprised that you had a great review about Harbour Restaurant at Pier 38. I have been there too, that's why I can also say that they have great food there. Plus the fact that they have a very good ambiance in an enticing reasons why we should go there. At the same time, you wouldn't go there just to eat, it's also a perfect place where you can find the inner peace that you might need!
