Noi Thai Cuisine Waikiki Hawaii (Advertisement) hiohioblog

My friend and I were wandering Waikiki late one afternoon and we started getting hungry.

We both spot the Noi sign while inside the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.

No ESP necessary as we both nodded in agreement.
We had a great meal there last time (several months ago).

My friend and I sat at the bar for Happy Hour (HH) which is only available here or outside at the Lanai.
You could opt to have HH at the regular tables for a surcharge ($4 per person).

The counter it was.

Their glitzy bar was calling out to us.

There’s actually two TV’s here (not shown).

Great choice (if I do say so myself) as the bartender on-duty was wonderful and so kind and attentive.

We didn't order Chef's Tasting Menu this time, as we just wanted small bites and a drink.

But the items on it look very similar to the menu they offered for Restaurant Week 2016 (November).
In fact, it's the same price!

Please see my more in-depth dinner review of our previous visit
(we had a bigger party and ordered more items).

Noi Thai Food Honolulu Hawaii (Chef's Tasting Menu) Feb 2017.
Chef's Tasting Menu. The items look almost exactly the same as the Restaurant Week Menu they served in November 2016 (the curry selection is different).

- Happy Hour Menu -

Noi Thai Restaurant Honolulu (Happy Hour Drink Special Menu).

- What we ordered -

Food from Noi Thai Cuisine Waikiki, Oahu (Drunken Noodles, Seafood, Taro Roll).
Drunken Noodles- $18.95 | Yum Seafood- $12 (Happy Hour) | Crispy Taro Roll- $11.95.

The Drunken Noodles can be ordered with beef or shrimp (for additional $5-$7+) but we decided
to be "somewhat" healthy today so stuck with their original dish with tofu, noodles, and veggies.

The restaurant is quite Vegetarian friendly (see menu).

The Yum Seafood was also quite refreshing.
It's like eating a cold version of Tom Yum Soup (minus the soup), with all of the good stuff.

We enjoyed their Crispy Taro Roll last time so that was a no-brainer once again.

- Spirits Menu -

I do apologize, this isn't the best picture. But you get the idea right?
They do have a few Japanese Whiskies (Hibiki/ Yamazaki/ Nikka) on offer.
Based on previous visit, pricing varies (but runs from $20-$70+ a shot) so check with the bartender.

Happy Hour Drinks! Red Wine + Lemon Drop- $8 each.

My friend loved their Lemon Drop.
She said it's made perfectly (no sourness or too much artificial sweetness like the candy).

Turns out, the restaurant uses fresh squeezed juice for every order.  :)

We'll be back again...maybe lunch next time??

Obviously, the food being sold at Noi Thai Cuisine are all high end. By just looking at the interior design of this restaurant gives me an assumption that the place is serving expensive but high quality food. That yum seafood and drunk noodles you just had both look really enticing. Thai food will always be my favorite because each and every taste of their recipe is full of flavor. I wouldn't trade it to Chinese nor Japanese food!

I am a foody person. It is always a great experience to taste different foods. I like to eat Spanish, Italian, Thai and French items.
